Up to date now with good news

Quebec

Had a tour today. Went to see part of the island and falls. Got some good stock shots for work. Stayed in tonight and watched movies and played on xbox.

Quebec overnight

Can’t get into Montreal again due to high tide. We did have 25 cm clearance, but the tide was not stable. The level went down, but then the Mississippi drained into it and the level went back up. Oh well… we all like overnights in Quebec. Went out on the town with the photogs and engineers. Have some new cadets here and had to break them in. What fun that was. Got some late night Souvlaki food and potatoes that were amazing at 4am. Quebec is starting to feel like home, we spend so much time here.

Quebec

Went into town to look for Scottish costumes with my manager for Halifax. No such luck with it being a Sunday and everything is closed. Had McDonald’s for the first time since I left home and it was amazing after a night like we had. Hung out playing darts in the OB with everyone and took it easy tonight,

Cruising Sea Day

We passed this big rock, similar to the one in Cabo, so I had to be outside taking cruising photos. The ship was running late and I had to leave early to get ready for formal night. Another formal night. I actually had a guest stand to take a photo then rudely say nope… I don’t want one and walk away, That’s the first. I was speechless. Had some drinks and watched some movies..

Charlottetown

Went on Green Gables tour. Was not too bad and got a few good shots for work. Headed back out after the tour for lunch at the Olde Dublin Pub with Ken. Starbucks to finish it off and then I got a new camera!! Yea. It is waterproof, shock proof, freeze proof, and dust proof… perfect for me.

Sydney

Tour today to the Fortress of Louisbourg. It was rainy and cold and nasty day to take photos. It being Sydney, I went shopping with the guys and got Chinese food… yum leftovers tonight, I can’t wait. Easy day today. Also got some interesting news. I am being transferred on June 11th to Alaska. I think I will plan a big party for my last night. I have a lot of people to say good bye to once again, but hey... look at all the places I get to visit now. I am so lucky to meet all these people and see all these places with them. This is definitely the best thing I have done for myself. I miss all my family at home, but I can't be home sick when everyday is a different place and something new to do.

I am going to try and keep this updated now and I am sorry for the lack of updates. I guess I have been having too much fun. LOL.
